Kasprowy Wierch
Kasprowy Wierch can be reached in two ways. Both start in Kuznice. From Kuznice you can take the cable car to the top, an option recommended for the elderly, families with small children and those who will find it difficult to cover long distances on foot. For tourists who enjoy hiking trips, we recommend taking a walk up the green trail from Kuznice through Myslenickie Turnie.
Reaching the summit will take about 3.5 h. From Kasprowy Wierch you can go along the West Tatras ridge to the Czerwone Wierchy following the red trail. It takes about 2 hours to reach the mountain pass Pod Kopa Kondracka from the top. Going from the mountain pass, you can also take the red trail and go down through Hala Kondratowa back to Kuznice in 2.5 h. Following this route will take about 8 h total. Another option to go down from Kasprowy Wierch is to follow the yellow trail from Hala Gasienicowa to Kuznice until you reach the lodge Murowaniec in Hala Gasienicowa. This takes about 1 hour.
Going down the blue trail through Boczan from the lodge Murowaniec to Kuznice takes about 1.5 h, or, you can go down the yellow trail through Jaworzynka, which also takes 1.5 h. This option of going down from Kasprowy will take you about 3 h total. A trip on foot to Kasprowy Wierch takes a whole day. Going up and down by cable car only takes about 3.5 h.
